Home Owner Grant in 2021
- Starting May 2021, you will apply for your home owner online with the Province.
- Municipalities are NO longer accepting applications. Program eligibility is unchanged.
- In order to avoid penalties and interest, apply before the tax due date, starting May 2021.

HOME OWNER GRANT APPLICATION
Home Owner Grants will be available to claim online starting at the end of May till December 31
Steps to Claim your Home Owner Grant Online:
1. Locate your roll number on the front top left corner of your tax notice
2. CLICK HERE to begin the home owner grant process
3. Print confirmation before exiting the program
Penalties
- 10% penalty will be added to current taxes remaining unpaid after the deadline as per your Tax Notice.
- If you are eligible for the N & R Home Owner grant, please claim this grant by the deadline as per your Tax Notice to avoid penalty on that portion of the taxes as claiming of the grant is not dependent upon payment of taxes.
