The Tahsis Lions club has been active for over 30 years raising money for charity, and contributing to community events. The Great Walk is the Lions’ major fundraiser, and can raise in excess of $100,000 for a wide variety of charities. Walkers donate the money they raise to their charity of choice. The Tahsis Lions provide their portable kitchen for community events such as the Great Walk, Halloween, the Christmas Tree Lighting and Polar Bear Swim. They also provide a yearly bursary for CMESS for post-secondary education.
